Professional landscapers deliver artistry and quality work
Brothers Francesco and Pietro Riccardi spent most of their working lives in the landscaping business. They started with part-time jobs in the summer during their student days where they gained insight into the industry and developed expertise in every aspect of outdoor design.
In 2003, they founded L’Entreprise Générale Riccardi Paysagiste with Francesco as president and Pietro as vice-president. As their company grew, the brothers remained hands-on with projects while they assembled a team of skilled workers. With their strong work ethic, customized approach and passion for details, the duo soon earned a loyal following and a solid reputation in the field. Today, the company has six full-time employees, as well as additional staff during its busier months.
Riccardi Paysagiste has built its business on excellent service.
“The customer always come first,” say Francesco, “and that has been our policy since Day 1. No job is too big or too small, and we are dedicated to producing quality work for any budget.”
Customer Stephanie Rinaldi of Montreal’s east end couldn’t agree more.
“Last year we needed a driveway and a retaining wall, as well as plantation and landscaping for our new house,” she recounts. “We shopped around a lot, but decided to go with Riccardi Paysagiste because of its impressive background. Not only were Francesco and Pietro very professional, but they did a beautiful job and we were completely satisfied. We would definitely recommend the company.”
From the beginning, the brothers have reinvested their earnings to constantly upgrade their services and equipment. Everything they own – backhoes, excavators, graders and 12-wheel dumpers – is stored in the company’s 14,000 square foot warehouse.
Not only are Francesco and Pietro meticulous in the execution of their projects, but they also rely on superior products that offer durability without posing harmful effects to the environment.
“We employ various green products since many of our customers are concerned about the environment,” says Francesco. “In recent years, we’ve added a product called TerraElast, which is a permeable pavement that allows water to be absorbed into the soil rather than flow into the municipal sewer systems.”
Although fifty percent of Riccardi Paysagiste’s business is residential, the company has worked on many commercial and government jobs such as city parks and arenas, in addition to the Uniprix Stadium, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, and other large-scale projects.
